1. Bossypants by Tina Fey
I began reading this book last summer but abandoned it for a trip to Belize when I forgot it at home. My friends who have read it have expressed how much they loved it to me, and I'm hoping to ACTUALLY read it this summer. Tina Fey is absolutely hilarious and I am excited to read about her life.
2. Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer
This book was recommended to me. It sounds very thrilling and will be a great summer read because it is so adventurous. Its plot line is intriguing and I am interested in finding out what happened to this mountaineer, especially because I really enjoy camping and hiking, and will be doing so for two-three weeks this summer in South Africa.
3. Heaven is For Real by Lynn Vincent and Todd Burpo
I want to read this book before it comes out in the movies! It is captivating and I want to see for myself if the little boy in the story actually went to Heaven or not. This book will help me continue to be enlightened over the summer, which is often something that is lost while one is on summer vacation, as well as help me to make up my own interpretation of what I believe happened or did not in the story.
